Jewels: T-minus 5 days and counting

The last month has been quite busy in various ways, Raymond and I enjoyed two weeks in Maui while Elbert, Chris and Jeremy stayed in Winnipeg and worked on the Manohar Jewels Project. Before leaving Raymond spent all of his time leading up to his holiday editing and after a week of continuous work day and night he managed to get it all done before he left. During our holiday Chris and Elbert began working on the special effects and title sequences for the films, creating the unique look for each one. It is sure to be the most effects intense project for Ambient to date…

Jeremy began working on the different sounds that will create the world of each film as well as trying his hand at writing East Indian music. Last week he brought the dancers into the recording studio to capture the hundreds of bells tied to their feet that are now being matched up piece by piece to the dances in the films. I on the other hand have been filling out insurance and legal docs to keep us up to date. I also have been meeting with potential clients to line up new work as we are reaching the end of our two month project with Manohar. I have been poking in to add my own two cents worth here and there as the post production process on Jewels comes to a close and I am excited as I am seeing every piece come together on this unique and artistically challenging project.

Overall, Ambient Empire is humming right now with excitement and anticipation for this weeks premier. We hope you can attend!
